In 3 years, Mt. Zion Baptist Church will celebrate its 200th anniversary! What started as eight individuals in a cabin in Mt. Zion, has become a church that has planted eight other churches and seen hundreds of people come to know Christ as their Savior. In 3 years, Mt. Zion Baptist Church will celebrate its 200th anniversary! What started as eight individuals in a cabin in Mt. Zion, has become a church that has planted eight other churches and seen hundreds of people come to know Christ as their Savior. We are still all about the proclamation of the gospel and building the Kingdom of God. We value preaching the Word and living the Word. Within the church we live out the "one anothers" of the New Testament. Outside church we "let our light shine before men that they might see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven.” Give us a visit. Perhaps God is leading you to be a part of our family.
